Welcome to The Mushroom Rainforest Resort

Situated in beautiful unspoiled rainforests in Pha Deng some 60 Km’s north of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand this unique resort gives you the opportunity to experience the wonders of the rainforest.

 The Resort

When you are at our resort you will feel fungal ambience in everything, be it the building designs, wall architecture, pictures, furniture design, signs and even in the miniature key chains! Yes we love mushrooms! The resort shares the grounds with The Mushroom Research Centre that is used at certain times of the year.

The chalets are constructed using high-quality, thick, wooden hardwood and are comfortable accommodation. They are spacious with en-suite hot shower and toilet rooms. They are very private and all have balconies with views of the lake or forest. The wooden chalets are merged into the forest where you are assured the tranquillity of the rainforest and the gentle sounds of croaking frogs, singing birds and unusual insects.

There are numerous easy walks through our private grounds.

The Restaurant

The resort is built around a large lake and the restaurant is raised above it giving a wonderful view whilst also providing excellent Thai food and refreshing drinks.

The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm
